Linda Lang, 57, died in her sleep at home on June 8, 2010.

She is survived by her mother, Joan Lang (age 92), her brothers Jordan, Philip, and Christopher and their families, and by her best friend Vickie Shea, with whom she shared a happy home in Fearrington Village along with “the girls” â€" cats Jamie and Samantha Grace.

An informal celebration of her life along with a reception with Vickie will be held on Saturday, June 26 from 4:30 â€" 6:30 at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, 396 West Street in Pittsboro (542-3057).
