Erasing Enloe

My kids graduated from Enloe High School in 2002 and 2007. Our base school is Broughton High, but the arts offered in the magnet program made it worth traveling across town to Enloe.

William G. Enloe was the mayor of Raleigh who chaired the meeting where the Raleigh School Board voted to begin the integration of our schools. The current school board majority apparently seeks to erase the legacy of this man and this great school. Why? So that the school that fails in its place will be forgotten along with the legacy of those who worked for the greater good of our country and society. They do not represent me.
