Thinking about not having an educator lead the Wake County school system is like:

Having Sarah Palin lead the Democratic Party,

Having a Bev Perdue leading the John Locke Foundation,

Having Hillary Clinton lead the Wake County Taxpayer Association,

Having Coach K as the leader of the Rams Club,

Having the CEO of Progress Energy on the Duke Energy board,

Having the CEO of Coke on the Pepsi board,

Having the chairman of the public school board on the board of a private school,

Having a medical doctor who has not been trained in medicine,

Having a rabbi as head of the Baptist State Convention.

The old saying goes something like, "you can't change stupid!" I hope for the sake of the children of Wake County that the Wake Board of Education doesn't live up to that saying and that they choose a properly trained educator to lead the education of our future.
