It is clear that the new members of the Wake County Board of Education will not listen to members of the public who are opposed to the change to the current diversity policy.

Civil disobedience is the single best method by which the residents of Wake County can express their displeasure with the direction of the new board.

I am proud of the students who have chosen to stand up for what is right. These young people are the future, and with people as involved as these, I am very optimistic about the future of Wake County and our country.
