Wouldn't be prudent

I am eternally grateful that I have no children in the Wake County Public School System. I am less concerned about changes being made than how decisions are made and the implications of that decision-making process.

What prudent business would make a decision to totally change how it does business without first making a complete and thorough analysis of the costs, problems and benefits of that change?

What prudent business would abandon an investment in property and years of planning because of potential traffic problems and then place the planned facility in a location where all the traffic would have to go through one intersection of a small town? None that I know.

One has to wonder at the motivation for these changes and why they were made. The reasons can be seen by understanding the political process.

It is a sad day when our educational system becomes controlled by political money and motivation. The education of our children is too important to be a Democratic or Republican issue.
