CARRBORO -- Early in the first quarter, Derek Bryant found Nassar Omar deep on the right sideline for a 51-yard score, setting the tone for a 30-0 blowout by Carrboro in its home opener against Orange.
While Orange struggled offensively - its first four possessions resulted in three four-and-outs and a turnover - Carrboro was firing on all cylinders, as Bryant threw for three touchdowns in the first half.
Two possessions after Omar's opening-drive touchdown, Bryant struck again, finding Juan Chavarriaga on a screen pass for an an 18-yard score.
