Raleigh teen accused of attempted murder

A Raleigh teenager is in jail today accused of attempted murder and assault, according to an arrest warrant filed in the Wake County Magistrate's Office.

Eighteen-year-old Courtney Lamar Grier, of 1412 Brookside Drive, Apt. 303, is accused of stabbing Isaiah Abram multiple times in the torso, head and extremities July 6, the warrant states.

Police said in the warrant that Grier used "a narrow hard weapon that causes puncture wounds."

Grier is facing one count of attempted murder and one count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious injury, the warrant states.

Grier is being held in the Wake County jail on $2 million bond.
