Quarterback Daniel Polk scored from 1 yard out with 8 seconds left to give the Campbell football team a come-from-behind 20-16 victory over host Virginia-Wise on Saturday night.
Polk's second touchdown of the game capped a 14-play, 84-yard drive.
Polk passed for 181 yards and carried 13 times for 36 yards. Rashaun Brown carried 12 times for 85 yards for the Camels, and Harrison Jordan had seven catches for 74 yards.
Stewart Robertson carried 10 times for 94 yards and a touchdown for the Highland Cavaliers of the NAIA, who lost their opener to Webber International 30-10.

St. Augustine's 20, Catawba 17: For the second time in three years, St. Augustine's surprised Catawba College in the Indians' home opener at Shuford Stadium.
The Falcons won behind two touchdown passes by Joaquin Green and a defense which held firm late. It all added up to a victory for the Falcons in their season-opener.
Walter Sanders clinched the win with a 23-yard scoring run on fourth down and inches with 2:04 left.
Green, the 2009 CIAA offensive rookie of the year, was efficient at quarterback. He completed 14 of 22 passes for 202 yards. He tossed touchdown passes to Jone' Harris and Jamain Smith, whose 25-yard catch with 9:05 remaining in the fourth quarter gave the Falcons a 14-10 lead which they would keep for good.
Shaw 57, Virginia Union 27: Kevin Atkins threw for two touchdowns, and backup quarterback Quinshon Odom threw for another two as the host Bears won easily in their season-opener.
Julius Gregory had 88 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
