Panther Creek High School student Kristen Johnson recently completed a week as a page in the N.C. House of Representatives.

Kristen, of Cary, was sponsored by state Rep. Rosa Gill, a Wake County Democrat.

Pages help deliver bills and amendments during daily House sessions and committee meetings, help out in individual representatives' offices and run errands.

Kristen is the daughter of Earl and Ethel Johnson of Cary.
