Corinne Jurney, a Broughton High School student, recently served as a page in the N.C. House of Representatives.
Pages help deliver bills and amendments during daily House sessions and committee meetings, help out in individual representatives' offices and run errands. They serve for one week.
Corinne's sponsor was state Rep. Hugh Holliman, a Davidson Democrat.
Her parents are Keith and Stephanie Jurney of Raleigh.
