Birdhouse project earns Cary girl Bronze Award

Jancey MacDonald, a rising sixth-grader at West Cary Middle School and daughter of Jay and Teresa MacDonald of Cary, has earned her Girl Scout Bronze Award, the highest award a Junior Girl Scout can attain.

For her Bronze Award, Jancey painted and installed birdhouses on her church grounds.

Jancey is a member of Girl Scout Troop 3246, led by Lynn Stuchel and Dawn Gaug, at Benson Memorial United Methodist Church.
