Meghan Stuchel of Wake Forest has earned the highest award possible for a Junior Girl Scout, her Bronze Award.

Meghan, who attends Wakefield Middle School, helped set up a library at The Healing Place, a women's homeless shelter. She organized a book drive, cataloged the books, built a shelf and donated 875 children's and adult books to the shelter.

The daughter of Scott and Lynn Stuchel of Wake Forest, Meghan is a member of Troop 3246 at Benson Memorial United Methodist Church. Her mother and Dawn Gaug co-lead the troop.
