DURHAM -- The Durham County Sheriff's Office has charged a teenager with killing another teen in a shooting last month.
Detectives arrested Dylan S. Turner, 19, of 412 Junction Road on Wednesday and charged him with the murder of Torian Thornton. Detectives had received several tips, including some called into Crime Stoppers.
Thornton, 17, was riding in a vehicle at Club Boulevard and Interstate 85 when he was shot at 2:36 a.m. Aug. 11. Deputies said the shooting appeared to be related to an altercation at the Cook-Out on Hillsborough Road that happened about an hour before.
