Donald Earl Johnson, 56, died Wednesday, September 23, 2010 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Wake County, the son of the late Carl Maynard Johnson and Lacy Mae Privette. Donald was a Processing Assistant at the North Carolina Farmer's Market.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon, September 25, 2010 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Beulah Christian Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sharon Eddins Johnson; daughters, Melissa Johnson of Youngsville and Michelle Johnson Andrews and husband, Tommy of Wake Forest; step-grandchildren, Bryson and Caitlin Andrews; brother, Wayne Johnson and wife, Beth; nephew, Wes Johnson and wife, Denise of Raleigh; great-nephew, Carter Johnson; brother-in-law, Jerry Eddins and wife, Donna of Wake Forest; nephew-in-law, Grant Eddins of Raleigh.
