Girl Scouts team up to earn Silver Award

Kelly Brown, Victoria Daniels, Rebecca Tibbetts and Margaret Tobey of Raleigh have been awarded the Silver Award, the second-highest achievement in Girl Scouting.

For their Silver Award project, Kelly, Victoria, Rebecca and Margaret asked local youth to paint canvases representing their lives and showing diversity. The paintings were then displayed at Triangle Town Center mall in North Raleigh.

The girls are members of Troop 154, which is led by Suzette Brown.

Kelly is the daughter of Suzette and Patrick Brown.

Victoria is the daughter of Tonya and Keith Daniels.

Rebecca is the daughter of Elizabeth and Larry Tibbetts.

Margaret is the daughter of Lisa and Brian Tobey.
