A steak sauce worth celebrating

CORRESPONDENTOctober 13, 2010

A group of us recently went to Trali Irish Pub in Brier Creek to celebrate my birthday. Everything was excellent, but the steak with a peppercorn bourbon sauce was out of this world. We would really like the recipe for that sauce! - S.K., Raleigh

Eamonn Kelly, chef at Trali (10370-109 Moncreiffe Road; 544-4141; www.traliirishpub.com), shares the recipe for the sauce that's featured in an occasional steak special. Kelly serves the sauce over grilled, sliced rib-eye, but notes that it goes great with anything from sirloin to filet.
