DURHAM — Orlando Hudson, senior resident Superior Court judge in Durham County, was elected president of the N.C. Conference of Superior Court Judges last week.
Hudson will preside over the professional association for the next year. The conference provides continuing education for judges and communication with other government and legal-profession partners.
Hudson has served as a Superior Court judge for 22 years, after four years at the District Court level. He graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a bachelor's degree in 1974 and a law degree in 1978.
