Clessie Edward Pollard, 87, passed away on November 5, 2010. Funeral service will be held on Sunday at 3:00p.m. at Everett Chapel Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Lloyd Hargis and Rev. Stanley Kirby officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie and Letha Ray Pollard, and the mother of his children, Marie Pollard. He is survived by his wife, Louise Pollard, three daughters, Delores (Dee) Farmer & husband, Pete of Clayton, NC, Deborah Haynes & husband, Stan of Renlo, NC, Becky Sledge & husband, John of South Port, NC, brother, Elvis N. Pollard (Jinz) & wife, Gail of Garner, NC, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, three step-daughters, Barbara Yoeman & husband, Dan of Greenville, NC, Sandra Corbett & husband John of Garner, NC, Vicki Stanley & husband, Terry of Garner, NC. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at McLaurin Funeral Home. Flowers are appreciated or memorial contributions may be made to the Clayton Area Ministries.
