Raleigh mom accused of stashing fake cash in kid's car seat

A 23-year-old Raleigh mother is in custody today after police said she made counterfeit money and stashed the fake cash in her child's car seat.

Jasmin Renee Singletary, of 5413 Holland Farms Way, is charged with one count of forgery of an instrument and one count of possession of more than five counterfeit instruments, according to arrest warrants filed in the Wake County Magistrate's Office.

Singletary is accused of photocopying $10, $20 and $100 bills.

Singletary is being held in the Wake County jail in lieu of $35,000 bail.
