A 26-year-old Raleigh man was arrested Thursday and charged with one count of taking indecent liberties with a 7-year-old girl, authorities said.
Alberto Remigio Cuenca, of 612 Kings Parkway, is accused of assaulting the child Jan. 7, according to arrest warrants filed in the Wake County Magistrate's Office.
The News & Observer generally does not identify people who report sexual assaults.
Cuenca is in custody in the Wake County jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.
