A Wake County school bus was involved in a hit-and-run accident in Raleigh this morning, according to police.
The vehicle struck the school bus near the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Chavis Way, then sped away, police said. No one was injured in the 7:34 a.m. wreck, which authorities described as minor.
Fifteen students were on board the bus, which was headed to Enloe High School, schools spokesman Greg Thomas said.
Witnesses recorded the vehicle's license plate and police are searching for the vehicle.
