Man jailed in embezzlement at Raleigh lumber yard

A Granville County man who worked at a Raleigh lumber yard was arrested today and charged with embezzlement, authorities said.

Kendryl Direlle Garner, 42, is accused of using a credit card belonging to American Woodyards on Hillsborough Street, according to arrest warrants filed in the Wake County Magistrate's Office.

Wake County Sheriff's deputies said they believe Garner made $797.40 in unauthorized purchases on the card last April.

Garner was in custody in the Wake County jail on a $3,000 bond.
