Rev. John Robert Grove, 75, of Wilson died Wednesday. Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at First Christian Church. The Rev. Joy Rowe will officiate.

The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service.

He was a retired minister of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) for 50 years, serving churches in Indiana, Kansas and West Virginia.

Rev. Grove is survived his wife, Nancy Ann Klieves Grove; a daughter, Kimberly Grove of Greenville; two sons, Craig Kirby-Grove and wife, Catherine of Greenville and Timothy Grove and wife, Tricia of Lebanon, Pa.; nine grandchildren, and a brother, David Grove and wife, Mary of Topeka, Kan.
