An Apex man who worked as a civilian employee of the state Highway Patrol has been charged with receiving and possessing child pornography.
James Warren Taylor, 45, was charged with 20 counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, Apex police announced today. Police searched his home early this morning, as part of an investigation that also included Cary police and the Highway Patrol's internal affairs division.
Taylor worked in the Highway Patrol's technical support division.
