Ryan Taylor didn't know which of the five NFL teams he interviewed with would take him in the draft but he had a pretty good idea which one wouldn't.
When the former UNC tight end visited the San Francisco 49ers, first-year coach Jim Harbaugh gave him an 100-question trivia quiz.
"We didn't have a real conversation," said Taylor, who was picked by the Green Bay Packers in the seventh round. "It was like he was proctoring a test."
Among the questions for Taylor, and presumably San Francisco's other prospective picks, were the obvious football-related ones about the rule differences between the college and pro game. And there were the expected questions about 49er history, notably the participants of "The Catch."
Taylor doesn't know how many questions he got right, except one.
"He asked where Michael Jordan went to college," Taylor said.
