CHAPEL HILL — A Chapel Hill Police Department K-9 that went missing after leaving a fenced yard in northern Orange County this morning has been reunited with his handler, the department says.
The dog, a 6-year-old German shepherd named Koda, escaped from the yard about 1 a.m. today, the Chapel Hill police said in a statement.
Koda was not wearing any identifying tags during his sojourn Sunday.
