UNC officers arrest foot-fondling suspect

CHAPEL HILL -- Public Safety officers at UNC-Chapel Hill arrested Christopher Deas, 35, Monday on three charges of assault on a female by unwanted touching of feet

According to police, the suspect allegedly came into classrooms on campus, where he would touch women’s feet. UNC-CH Public Safety officers are looking for additional victims or witnesses of this activity, at UNC-CH and throughout the Triangle area.

Victims or witnesses should report these incidents either to UNC police investigators at 919-966–2120 or contact the police agencies at their own schools or municipalities.

Authorities say he is not affiliated with UNC.
