Victims of double homicide lived in Willow Spring home

Authorities on Monday identified one of the two men found dead in a double slaying in Willow Spring.

Roger Trujillo Perez, 30, was shot to death at his home at 2832 N.C. 42 east of Fuquay-Varina, according to the Wake County Sheriff's Office.

A spokeswoman for the Sheriff's Office said investigators have not been able to determine the identity of the second shooting victim, who also lived at the home.

Deputies were called to the doublewide mobile home at 7:15 a.m. Friday. A man who called dispatchers indicated that there were multiple people involved in the shooting. "They took me outside, and one of the men said, 'If you scream, I'm going to kill you also,' " the caller said, according to a recording of the emergency dispatch call provided by the county. The name of the caller was redacted from the recording.

Authorities last week remained tight-lipped about the shooting, releasing few details about what happened. But on Monday they revealed they arrested a third person who lived at the house. Miguel Vasquez, 63, was charged Friday evening with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana, sheriff's spokeswoman Phyllis Stephens said.

She declined to comment on any connection between the drug arrest and the shooting deaths.

Stephens said investigators think the shooting was not a random act and do not think the public is in danger.

Reached by phone, property owner Judith Dickens, who lists an address in Rockville, Md., said she didn't know the tenants. She declined to answer further questions.
