Ariel Bushel, Adrienne Boone and Ebonie Coley were three of many Wake County high school juniors named Kappa Scholars this spring by the Kappa Charitable Trust of the Raleigh Alumni Chapter of the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity.

The Kappa Scholars program recognizes 11th-grade African-American students who have maintained a 3.0 or better GPA.

The awards ceremony took place at the Raleigh Marriott City Center in conjunction with the Raleigh Alumni Chapter's 26th Annual Beautillion Militaire.
