N.C. State confirmed Friday that Cameron Fordham, an offensive lineman from Duluth, Ga., has joined the Wolfpack football program.

Fordham, a transfer from LSU, began class at N.C. State and participated in practice Friday afternoon.

Fordham, listed at 6-foot-3 and 261 pounds, redshirted as a freshman last year at LSU. His father, Jeff, was an offensive lineman for the Tigers.

Fordham was used at tight end at Northview High School but was projected as an offensive lineman and was rated the No. 7 center in the country by Scout.com.
