Once again our federal government is wasting our tax dollars on a $50 million project to determine what individuals are doing when they wreck (news story, Aug. 20)! I bet this study will show people are talking or texting, fiddling with the radio, picking up dropped cigarettes or spilled drinks, looking at directions or billboards, putting on makeup, shaving, etc. I can figure this out for free.

And don't you wonder how this study will change the habits of mankind. When is this useless spending on useless projects going to stop! No wonder we need to raise taxes to pay off our debt. It is absolutely ludicrous.
