Surrounded by his loving family, Ronald McGrath passed away on August 23, 2011 after a short illness.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife Ann of 47 years, and by his dear children, Glenn (Melissa), Colleen (Calvin) Jones, and Neil. He was an adoring grandfather, their “Papa,” to Ryan and Erin McGrath, and Brayden, Sutton, and Olivia Jones. He is also survived by his sister Madeleine, nephews Brent, Warren, and Mark, nieces Lora and Tara, and many wonderful friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 25th at the Cremation Society of the Carolinas, 2205 E. Millbrook Rd., Raleigh from 7 to 9pm. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, August 26th at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 12 o’clock.
