Mooresville workers back on regular schedule

MOORESVILLE -- After experimenting this summer with a shorter work week, the town government will return to its regular business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays beginning Tuesday.

Town hall was closed on Fridays this summer, with longer morning and evening hours the other four days. With school back, employees felt the traditional hours were better for their family schedules, Town Manager Erskine Smith said. Joe Marusak
