The Capital Area Soccer League recently became the first club in the country to accept membership in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America

Based in Kansas City, Kan., the NSCAA is the largest soccer coaches' organization in the world. It includes more than 30,000 members who coach boys and girls of all levels.

As a member, CASL will receive discounted individual memberships for its more than 200 coaches.

Other benefits include discounted registrations for teams in NSCAA college showcase events, continuing education vouchers for coaches, and group registration for the organization's national convention each year.

CASL joins at the platinum level, based on the large number of coaches in the league.

"We are proud to announce CASL as the inaugural club in our member club program," said NSCAA CEO and executive director Joe Cummings.

"CASL is one of the most respected leagues in the country. We are excited about this new relationship and look forward to implementing some of the many benefits for both organizations."

Clubs that join NSCAA will receive a $100 discount off their registration fees to the CASL visitraleigh.com National Soccer Series tournaments held annually in November and December.
