College football writer J.P. Giglio is one of 60 voters in the AP Top 25 poll.
The status quo holds for the top 10 and for No. 11 Arkansas, which made short work of Auburn.
The next 14 spots will remain fluid for the rest of the season. Texas (19), Virginia Tech (21) and Florida (24) weren't as good as their previous rankings, and neither is the list of potential candidates to replace them.
Georgia Tech (12) and Kansas State (14) keep winning and avoiding "land mine" game in their respective conferences.
Georgia (22) started 0-2, with losses to No. 6 Boise State and No. 13 South Carolina, but has bounced back in for embattled coach Mark Richt. The Dawgs just might win the SEC East with the way their conference schedule breaks.
Arizona State (25) is the other newcomer.
