RALEIGH — Raleigh police arrested a man who they think robbed six men at gunpoint on Sunday before stealing a Lexus on Hillsborough Street.
Michael Link Bearfield, 33, is accused of stealing $167 from two groups of three people, according to arrest warrants. Police said he threatened his victims with a 9 mm pistol.
Bearfield also is accused of breaking into a sliver Mini Cooper.
A wallet, watch, and $14,250 were stolen from the owner of the Lexus, police said.
Bearfield is charged with seven counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, one count of fleeing arrest with a motor vehicle, breaking and entering a motor vehicle, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
