Four area girls teams won their divisions at the N.C. USYS Fall State Cup championships in Wilson last weekend.
Sunday in the U-15 division, Triangle Futbol Club's '96 Navy claimed the title with a 2-1 overtime victory over Charlotte SA Predator.
The U-17 CASL Elite Ladies won their division with a 2-1 championship win over the PGSA Stars from Pitt County.
Maddie Cannon scored on a penalty kick, and Maura McDonnell also scored for CASL. Lisa Armstrong and Meredith Lennox shared goalkeeping duties in the win.
Also in Wilson last weekend, TFC '93 White won the U-18 President's Kepner State Cup Championship with a 3-2 win over TESC Elite Red from the Triad.
Triangle United (TUSA) Green won it's U-17 division championship with a 1-0 win over Charlotte United Green.
CASL Boys Shootout
Four area teams claimed tournament titles last weekend at the CASL Boys Shootout.
In the U-11 AdiZero Division, TUSA Gold defeated the TFC '00 Cosmos 2-0 in the final.
Nick Epstein scored for TUSA on a first-half penalty kick. Béla Maetzel knocked in the second score off an assist by Declan Shaw. TUSA goaltenders Kaveh Rad and Jahon Rad combined for the shutout. The Cosmos had outscored its three previous opponents by a combined score of 15-2.In the U-13 AdiPure Division, TUSA Silver shut out TUSA Gold 2-0 for the title.
In the U-14 F50 Division, TUSA Gold claimed the title with a 2-1 final win over SCUFC '97 Elite.
In the U-14 Mundial Division, the East Wake SA Hammers blanked the FSC Force Premier, 3-0 for the championship.
FCCA Carolina Shootout
The CASL U-17 Courage won the Green Division Championship last weekend in Concord beating CESA Copa 3-0. The Cougars lost to Copa 2-1 in the preliminary round.
The Courage also shut out the Winston-Salem Lady Twins Red on their way to the title. Nine different players combined to score the Courage's 11 tournament goals.
Carolina Soccer Club's '98 G Blue finished second in the U13 girls White division of the FCCA Carolina Soccer Shootout. The challenge-level team won both of its games in group play and lost 1-0 to Mecklenburg Union FC Navy in the championship match.
NCYSA Singer Cup
The CASL Mustangs shut out the CASL Blast 4-0 to win the U-18 girls division of the NCYSA Singer Challenge Cup last weekend in Wilson.
In the U-16 Girls' Championship, the CASL Challengers shut out the CASL Hurricanes 3-0.
