Recap: Saint Josephs vs. Seton Hall

Jordan Theodore scored 18, dished out 10 assists and grabbed seven rebounds for the Seton Hall Pirates as they posted a 78-70 win over the Hawks of Saint Joseph's in the second round of the Charleston Classic at TD Arena.

Herb Pope had a double-double for Seton Hall (3-0) with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Fuquan Edwin contributed 17 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the floor and Aaron Cosby finished with 13.

St Joseph's (2-1) was led by Carl Jones who scored a career-high 38 points as he connected on 12-of-17 from the floor, 4-of-6 beyond the arc and 10-of-11 at the charity stripe. Ronald Roberts scored 10 points and grabbed six rebounds off the bench.

The Hawks started the game out well as they took a 10-point lead just under eight minutes into the first half. St. Joseph's led 39-32 at intermission after shooting 55.6 percent from the floor and 5-of-10 beyond the arc.

Seton Hall came out strong in the second half to erase the deficit. The Pirates outscored their opponent 46-31 in the second twenty minutes as they shot 58.3 percent from the floor while holding the Hawks to 41.7 percent shooting.

With the win Seton Hall is now set to take on Northwestern in the title game on Sunday, while the Hawks pits Tulsa in the third-place match.
