Ariah Graham_Wakefield: Won the long jump and the 300 meters during the 2011 N.C. High School Athletic Association winter championships. The NCHSAA had no indoor facility last year and conducted a winter championship instead of an indoor championship. Graham was the MVP of the winter event. She later finished third in the national 400 meters indoor championships. Graham also won the NCHSAA 400 meters outdoors last spring. She helped Wakefield win the NCHSAA winter team championship and added another title in running on the winning 4x400 relay.

Sammy George_Millbrook: N.C. State recruit owns five NCHSAA titles having won the 2011 cross country, the 1,600 indoors in 2009 and 2010 and the 1600 outdoors in 2010 and 2011.

Mollie Williams_Clayton: 55-meter hurdles champion in 2011 winter finals and runner-up in the 100 hurdles outdoors in 2011.

Laura Colberg_Green Hope: NCHSAA winter champion in 1,600 meters.

Briana Haith_Granville Central: Champion of the 3A/2A/1A 300 meters and third in the 55 meters.

Alexis Murphy_Apex: NCHSAA 4A champion in the 200-meter dash outdoors in 2010.

Tiana Patillo_Wakefield: Junior was runner-up in the winter 300 meters behind teammate Graham and third in the 500 meters.

Maura McDonnell_Green Hope: NCHSAA winter runner-up in the 1,000-meters run last year as a sophomore.

Audrey Diener_Apex: NCHSAA winter and spring runner-up in the pole vault.

Alexis Perry_Durham Jordan: Finished third in the 55-meter hurdles and in the high jump.

Kristen Lee_Wakefield: Finished third in the winter pole vault.

Mary Grace Doggett_Cardinal Gibbons: Finished second in the 3A cross country championships.

Mattie Blue_Broughton: Finished fourth in the 4A winter 800 run.
