Johnston sheriffs charge Pine Level man in Selma killing

Arnold Anthony “Tony” Teague Jr. of Davis Mill Road has been charged with first-degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon, the sheriff's department announced Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011. Teague, 33, is charged with killing Linwood Ray Pilkington of U.S. 301 N in Selma.

Johnston County sheriff's detectives have charged a Pine Level man with killing a Selma man last week.

Arnold Anthony “Tony” Teague Jr. of Davis Mill Road has been charged with first-degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon, the sheriff's department announced late today. Teague, 33, is charged with killing Linwood Ray Pilkington of U.S. 301 N in Selma.

The sheriff's department said more arrests are expected in the case.

It did not provide details about the case, including a motive for the killing.
