Player to watch: Michael Gbinije, Duke G/F. After not playing at all in the Maui Invitational, the 6-foot-7 freshman set a career-high with 16 minutes against Ohio State. It will be interesting to see if Gbinije can log significant minutes and carve out a spot for himself in the rotation.
Observation: The Blue Devils have led at the first media timeout in only three of their eight games so far this season. Duke's players are hoping to alter that trend against the Rams. "I want to see us come out (with) a punch," freshman Austin Rivers said.
