U.S. Rep. Coble 'too weak' to go home

MCTDecember 19, 2011

U.S. Rep. Howard Coble was "too weak" to be discharged from the hospital Sunday, and his spokesman says it will be several days before Coble is strong enough to return home.

Coble has been at George Washington University Hospital since Tuesday, and was released from ICU on Friday, said Ed McDonald, his long-time spokesman. Physicians say Coble is making steady progress from an upper respiratory infection, but he remains too weak to be discharged, McDonald said.
