Dressed in his black suit and gold tie, it was somewhat strange seeing Wes Miller presiding over a sideline at Cameron Indoor Stadium so soon after his playing days. Miller was 2-1 in his playing career at UNC in games at Duke.
Mason Plumlee got a healthy round of applause after making his first free throw after two misses Monday. Plumlee went 3-for-8 for the game after making only 2-of-11 against Washington on Dec. 10.
Miles Plumlee had 13 rebounds but only attempted one shot and didn't get to the free-throw line. He was the exception to the rule - two of Duke's other big men, Ryan Kelly and Mason Plumlee, attempted 18 free throws between them.
