Tyler Thornton threw a perfect pass to Mason Plumlee at the end of the first half after a Duke timeout, lobbing the ball from outside the 3-point line to Plumlee, who caught it and dunked it.

Andre Dawkins' body language suggests he isn't altogether confident in his game. The junior has scored a total of eight points in Duke's last two contests, and Dawkins hasn't started since his zero-point effort against Ohio State on Nov. 29.

Duke exploited Penn's lack of size and had as many offensive rebounds - eight - as Penn had rebounds with 7:52 left in first half. At that point in the game, Duke had a 14-2 advantage in second-chance points.
