Player to watch: G Ramone Moore, Sr., Temple
A 6-foot-4 redshirt senior who's one of the most experienced players (96 career games) in the Atlantic 10, Moore is coming off an unusually poor shooting performance (4-for-15) in the Owls' 66-63 win at Delaware on Dec. 30. Ordinarily, Moore is an accurate 3-pointer shooter, having converted almost 40 percent of his attempts over the past two seasons.
Observation: After tonight, Duke's only other non-ACC game before the start of the NCAA tournament will be Jan. 28 against St. John's in Durham. The Blue Devils will go to Georgia Tech (Saturday, noon) to start the league season then return to Cameron Indoor Stadium Jan. 12 to face No. 21 Virginia in their home league opener.
