Brothers Khari and Taajae' Bailey of Raleigh recently served state lawmakers as pages.
Khari served for a week in the N.C. House of Representatives, where he delivered bills and other documents for lawmakers and helped with clerical work and errands around the legislature. Khari's sponsor was Rep. Rosa Gill. Taaj served for a week in the N.C. Senate, where he attended Senate sessions and committee meetings and assisted staff members with clerical duties. Taaj's sponsor was Sen. Daniel Blue.
Taaj and Khari are the sons of Jimmie and Mia Bailey. Taaj attends Upper Room Christian Academy in Raleigh and Khari is a student at Enloe High School.
