MOBILE, Ala. -- A pair of N.C. State standouts will have one more opportunity to showcase their talents on a national stage this month at the Senior Bowl as linebacker Audie Cole and wide receiver T.J. Graham both officially have accepted invitations to the showcase event.

The 63rd Senior Bowl is set for 4 p.m. on Jan. 28.

Cole was an honorable mention All-ACC selection for the Wolfpack this season after posting a team-high 132 total tackles. He also notched 14 tackles for loss, six sacks, eight quarterback hurries and two pass breakups. He had seven double-digit tackle games, including a career-high 16 stops against both Cincinnati and Georgia Tech.

He leaves N.C. State tied for 12th in school history with 328 tackles and is 13th on the school's all-time list with 32.5 tackles for loss and tenth with 15 sacks.

Graham, a first-team All-ACC performer, recorded four 100-yard receiving games this season and finished the year with 46 catches for 757 yards and seven touchdowns. His best outing of the year came against Cincinnati when he reeled in seven passes for 176 yards and two touchdowns.

He also was used in the return game, totaling 1,181 yards and scoring one touchdown.

Blue Devil men's

tennis perfect

The duo of junior Henrique Cunha and sophomore Fred Saba maintained their position as the tournament leaders in doubles play as the men's tennis team went undefeated for the second time in as many days at the Duke Invitational.

The Blue Devils posted victories in three doubles matches and six singles contests against William & Mary in another strong outing by the squad.

N.C. State wrestling falls to Hokies

N.C. State was unable to take advantage of standout performances by seniors Quinton Godley, Darrius Little, and Colton Palmer and went on to a 24-15 defeat at the hands of Virginia Tech at Reynolds Coliseum.

The Wolfpack won three out of the first five bouts before surrendering the four of the final five.

With the loss, the Wolfpack is 3-4 on the season and 0-2 in the ACC. Virginia Tech improved to 4-3 and 2-1.

Wake Forest tennis sweep doubles

The Wake Forest women's tennis team swept its three doubles matches against Utah but was unable to get on the board against the Utes in singles as the Deacons continued play at the UVa Winter Classic in Charlottesville, Va..

Kayla Duncan teamed with Rebecca Siegler to defeat Callie Craig and Anastasia Putilina 8-4.

Ryann Cutillo partnered Karen Forman in an 8-6 win against Paige Miles and Sarah Pham.

Brigita Bercyte and Kathryn Talbert rounded out the sweep with an 8-5 victory against Danielle Flores and Natasha Smith.

However, the Deacons were unable to keep the momentum going in singles as they dropped all six matches.
