Durham bomb threat cleared

A Durham Public Schools administration building was partially evacuated this morning, after police responded to a call of a bomb threat.

The call came in at 9:08 a.m., according to Durham police.

After arriving to the scene, police discovered there was no bomb. A man was taken from the scene in handcuffs for questioning but was not arrested, according to a Durham police dispatch.

No one was injured, and no weapons were found. Police have left the scene and the school is back to normal working conditions, said Jeffrey Nash, spokesperson for the administration building.
