Tonight in Durham, the Carolina Theatre's Retrofantasma film series takes a cue from the Doors' classic "People Are Strange," with a double feature dubbed "When You're Strange, Faces Come Out Of The Rain."

First up, there's Stanley Kubrick's classic adaptation of Stephen King's "The Shining" (1980), starring Jack Nicholson and Shelley Duvall.

Following that is Joel Schumacher's 1987 cult favorite "The Lost Boys," starring Jason Patric, Kiefer Sutherland, Jami Gertz and the two Coreys: Feldman and Haim.

The double bill begins at 7, and admission is $8 ($6.25 for Star members). 560-3030; festivals.carolinatheatre.org/ retrofantasma.
