CHARLOTTE — One of TV's most popular reality shows may temporarily call Charlotte home.

Entertainment Weekly and People magazine both report that Emily Maynard of Charlotte will be the next "Bachelorette" on the ABC reality dating series and that the show will move filming to Charlotte for her season. ABC would not comment.

Maynard became engaged to a Texas businessman at the end of "The Bachelor" last year, but the two split.

Maynard was once engaged to NASCAR driver Ricky Hendrick, who was killed in a plane crash in 2004. Maynard discovered a week after his death that she was pregnant with their daughter, whom she calls Ricki.
